Recovers dozens of file types — It will recover just about every file type you can name. And it recovers data from dozens of storage media, including hard drives (SATA, SCSI, IDE, RAID), USB flash drives, memory cards (SD, XD, MMC, Memory Stick), USB external drives, CDs, and DVDs.
Recovers files from cameras and mobile phones — You can recover photos and videos from your mobile phone, even if you’ve deleted the files or formatted your phone or camera’s memory card. You can also recover RAW photo files from your digital camera.
Recovers data from corrupted drives — If your drive has lots of bad sectors or is badly corrupted, you can create an image of the drive. You can then recover your files from the image.
Recovers data from formatted drives — If your hard drive has become so corrupted that your only option is to format the drive, you can still recover your files (even if you reinstalled Windows).
Recovers deleted partitions — You can recover your data from lost or missing partitions. Also formatted, re-formatted partitions and re-partitioned drives.
Preview files before recovery — You can double-click any file to preview the file before recovery. (The preview won’t be available if the file is severely corrupted, though).
Dislikes
Small, fixed size window — You can’t resize it, so you have to keep scrolling to see more details, which is a pain in the arse.
