It’s really easy to use — Sure, it may not be the slickest looking piece of software, but it’s dead easy to use. In fact, you can install drivers with one click. Doesn’t get any easier than that.
Protects you before updating drivers — Before you install a driver, you get a pop-up message recommending you back-up your drivers. It also creates a system restore point before installing new drivers.
It installs and uninstalls drivers — As well as updating and installing drivers, you can also uninstall driver. This is useful if you want to remove corrupt or unused drivers.
Its drivers are guaranteed safe to use — All the drivers you download with Driver Genius are from a safe and trusted source. And, you can even set it up so your anti-virus software scans every driver you download.
Driver backup and restore tools — You can back-up your drivers to a folder, or create a ZIP archive, a self-extracting archive, or an auto-installer. The auto-installer is especially cool, because if you ever need to reinstall Windows, you can install all your drivers with one click.
Helps you solve hardware problems — The Device Diagnostics tool helps you get to the bottom of any driver and hardware problems. It lists all your drivers and tells you whether they’re working properly or not. And it’ll suggest ways to fix any problems.
Scheduler helps you keep your drivers updated — You can use the Driver Scan Scheduler to check for driver updates daily, weekly or monthly. So you can install the latest drivers as soon as they’re available, if you like.
Dislikes
Limited driver database size — Although it has an 80,000 device driver database, it lags behind other driver update software.
